A-1 Electric Service Company, Inc. is an independent, family owned,
full service electrical contractor. We have been doing business in
Southern California since 1932. Headquartered in Culver City our work
is focused primarily on large industrial, commercial, entertainment,
and institutional firms in Los Angeles, Orange and Ventura counties.
The company is divided into two divisions, one is electrical
construction while the other offers a unique approach to electrical
maintenance, testing and repair.
 The construction division's
primary business is power, lighting, computer and motor control work.
We specialize in both construction and remodel. We have had extensive
experience working in occupied areas of buildings and our workmen are
trained to recognize that this presents special problems. We specialize
in improvement type work including custom lighting, power distribution,
motor control, data and telephone cabling, we are proud of the quality
of our workmanship, safety record and the efficiency of our operation,
assuring first class installations at a fair price. We are a
goal-oriented company striving to bring each project in on budget and
on time. Customer satisfaction is our biggest goal.
The service division uses unique proven maintenance procedures to
assure our customers the freedom from worry regarding electrical risks.
We are equipped with the latest testing equipment including infra-red
thermography and power harmonics testing.
The company holds a C-10 contractors license #714959 is signatory to
the Inside Wireman's agreement with locals #11 LA, #952 Ventura, #441
Orange, #40 Studios, #440 Inland Empire and is a charter member of the
Los Angeles County Chapter of the National Electrical Contractors
Association
We carry a five million dollars all risk insurance with Westport
Insurance Co. Our workman's compensation carrier is Topa Insurance Co.
Our bonding company is Surety Company of the Pacific and we have bonded
jobs for over 2 million dollars with them.
We are especially proud of our field personnel. They are all
professional master electricians or apprentices working toward that
distinction. They are members of the IBEW, have attended classes,
passed tests and are qualified to work on all types of electrical
systems. The company has a strong ongoing safety program and many of
our people are certified to work in asbestos contaminated areas under
special conditions. We are an equal opportunity

management personnel have been promoted from within the company. All of
our people, both field and office, are dedicated to customer
satisfaction
We offer complete services from preliminary planning through design and
